"Residual Layers"

Collagraph monoprint, 9 7/8 x 14 1/8". I made this one early in May, 2010 using two plates and two stencils. This was one of several experimental prints that took shape over multiple days. It was so freeing not meticulously planning out an image. I enjoyed sitting on an unfinished print for a day or two, contemplating the seemingly endless possibilities for how I could "finish" it.
